Majlis Atfālul Ahmadiyya Canada held its 24^th Annual National Ijtimā` at Baitul Islam Mosque, located in Maple, Ontario on September 10<sup>th</sup> and 11<sup>th</sup>, 2011. By the sheer grace of Allah, this year the attendance at the National Ijtimā` once again improved from the previous Ijtimā` to a total of 813 Atfāl across Canada, including distant Majālis such as Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal, Windsor and Hamilton.

By the sheer grace of Allah Almighty Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya Canada held its 24^th Annual National Ijtima`, a total of 814 Atfal attended from 9 Region across Canada. The following is a Regional Breakdown of the Attendance

Majalis breakdown of those Majalis who traveled far distances is as follows; 1 from Edmonton, 2 from Calgary, 7 from Montreal 13 from Ottawa, 3 from Windsor, 13 from Hamilton and 4 from Kitchener

Opening session was presided by Respected Ameer Jama’at Canada Malik Lal Khan Sahib. After the Tilawat and Translation pledge was read followed by beautiful poem and Atfal Tarana presented by group of Atfal.

At this year’s Ijtima`, 10 different educational competitions were held. While Atfal had to qualify in their respective regions to participate in the competitions at the National Level.  Similarly presentation competition and Quiz competition were also held. Question Answer session were held separately for Mayar-e-Sagheer and Mayar-e-Kabeer.

A total of 6 team sports competitions and 2 individual sport competition were held at this year’s Ijtima`. For the Mayar-e-Kabeer Atfal, Kabaddi exhibition matches and for Mayar-e-Sagheer Atfal (7 -8 years) Soccer Exhibition Match was held.

Special prizes were also awarded to Atfal who memorized full Qaseeda or one full part of Holy Qur'an or at least 40 sayings of the Holy Prophet (saw). Certificates were also given to Atfal who finished one round of the Holy Qur’an during the month of Ramadan.

By the Grace of Allah Almighty, the total numbers of Majalis with 100 % Attendance at this Ijtima` are 13

This year an exhibition was held along with the Ijtima’ in which 86 projects were submitted by Atfal. Also, Peel North Region Atfal, Weston North West Majlis Atfal came to Ijtima’ on bicycles leaving after Fajr and reaching the Ijtima’ Gah in Opening session.

Closing Session was presided by Respected Sadr Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Canada Abdul Hameed Waraich Sahib. Prize ceremony was held for the Atfal and Majalis who has held positions in competitions. After the Dua Ijtima’ was concluded.

Finally, I would like to mention that this year by the grace of Allah Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyya broadcasted its Ijtima' live via internet. A total of 150 volunteers worked tirelessly and put countless hours to make this Ijtima a great success. May Allah Almighty bless the efforts of all the organizers of the Ijtima` and also enable the Atfal to benefit positively from this experience.  Ameen!
